What is the Resounz Metronome?

The Resounz Metronome is a full featured Metronome, capable of far
more than nearly every Metronome available today. The Metronome is used to
sound rhythms (extremely accurately) of any complexity, from a simple,
repetitious pulse to the most complex of multi-metre, multiple rhythms.

Please note: The Resounz Keyboard 3 runs on all operating systems (Linux, Windows, Mac, Solaris, etc) and is self updating to the latest version.
How does the Metronome help me?
Rhythmic ability and accuracy are obviously very important to
any musician. Using the Metronome regularly will enhance your
awareness of basic rhythmic evenness, improve your ability to subdivide rhythms,
as well as give you the ability to hear complex rhythms accurately, and so
practice them correctly.
For example, maybe you have no difficulty performing simple cross-rhythms such as 2 against 3 (2:3 in ratio tuplet notation).
But what about 3 against 4 (3:4), or 4 against 5 (4:5), or 7 against 12 (7:12)?
The Resounz Metronome allows you to very accurately hear these rhythms - and much more complex ones.
If you have ever played any of Stravinsky's ballet music you will know how complex rhythms can become. Not to mention many contemporary composer's music.
And what about Bach? The Minuet from his fifth keyboard Partita has a 2:3 cross-rhythm almost throughout. Mozart's Oboe Quartet has some quite tricky multiple cross-rhythms.
Please see the right side of this page for some downloadable examples of what the Resounz Metronome is capable of.
