Tutorials - Resounz

Resounz is all about helping you to make meaningful progress towards being able to perform and enjoy music as well as you want to.

Our tutorials help you to learn new things - they are not tests. They are designed for anyone wanting to improve their musical general knowledge. They cover basic concepts and facts as well as more advanced material (in the extension questions).

The tutorials can be used in a class situation by doing the following:

Teachers

• Your students follow a logical series of questions and activities that help them learn more about a particular aspect of music, for example pitch. The questions and activities are NOT designed as a test of their existing knowledge. They are designed to stimulate interest and increase knowledge and skills. The students email you their answers for you to mark and email back to them.

Students

• You complete a series of intersting questions and activities designed to increase your musical knowledge and skills. At the end of each tutorial, you email your answers to your teacher for marking, who then emails you back with corrections and advice.

The tutorials are divided up into broad general topics, which are then divided into individual tutorials on particular aspects of those topics.
